Zofia Sulima, a co-founder of SGS and our dear friend, passed away in November 2019. She has graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology, was fluent in several foreign languages, and her career as a patent attorney was inspiring. When in 1995 the three of us decided to fulfill our dream by setting up a modern and client-friendly patent attorney office, Zofia enthusiastically devoted her time to making this dream come true. Her dedicated focus towards our common goals, extraordinary diligence, optimism and serenity made an invaluable contribution to the development of our firm. She loved her work and the people she worked with, and at the same time, she was a colorful character, a connoisseur of art, an admirer of classical music and dance. We miss her very much.
